Religious Ceremonies

It is possible to hold a ceremony on any day of the week, including Sundays.

At its height of magnificence, Ravello had 80 churches, and many are still open for worship today. Below are the most important where you can celebrate a religious wedding:

• The Cathedral (Church of Santa Maria Assunta);
• Church of Santa Maria a Gradillo;
• Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie;
• Church of the Convent of San Francesco (which houses an attached thirteenth century cloister).

Symbolic Ceremony

We can organize symbolic ceremonies inside or outside the villa so you can enjoy the stunning views of the coast that we have to offer.

This ceremony has no legal and civil consequence, since it is not officiated by a public officer or a religious minister, but we have our own experts and masters of ceremony that can officiate the rite.

Civil Marriage

A civil ceremony takes place in the ancient Palazzo Tolla (XII sec.) which houses the offices of the City of Ravello, and again can be held on Sundays for these functions. The rite may be held either in the Council Chamber or in the City Hall gardens except for Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Mayor or the Civil Status officer will hold the ceremony in the presence of two witnesses.
